After being 20-12 up and looking gorgeous in the first set, Worksop came back and before Arena knew it, they had lost 3-0. Too many poeple on the bench meant the team was never stable. |

After whupping Leicester in the 1st set, 25-15, Arena's luck ran out and Leicester never relaxed again. |
1. Mike for trying to dance on a volleyball and breaking his neck before the match.
2. Steve for serving from the 3-metre line.
3. Tall John, for having legs longer than the M1 which setters get lost in. |

Won 3-2 |
After going 2 sets up, Arena then made a game of it by giving Worksop the next 2 games by serving repeatedly into the net. Luckily in the 5th set Worksop were so tired, the lean and gorgous Arena machine brought the trophy home. |
1. Uve for calling 'out' a ball that landed on the 3 metre line.
2. Dave for saying "Chippy's serving well tonight". The next ten of Adam's serves hit the net...
3. Dave for getting stopped by the police after leaving the pub and passing the breathaliser, but then being rumbled for being in posession of an underage chicken.

The Mighty Leicester were humbled by an Arena team that could do little wrong. Nobody stood out above the rest because everyone was gorgeous. Even Chippy got a back court hit over the net! |

Loughborough had a very strong squad of 28 players, including a couple of national standard. After Arena went 2-1 up L'boro put on their best and nailed it in the 5th. |
1. Blake for juggling rather than setting at key moments.
2. Blake for dying of tonsilitis on court.
3. Blake for not going to the pub to defend himself in the Mr Spoon awards... |

An epic battle matched only by our gloating and Meltons gracious reaction to defeat. (Seriously, they were very good losers) |

Uwe. For disgracefully ignoring instuctions and hitting cross court on the warm up and accidently hitting Andreas straight in the nuts with a solid spike. Doubled the poor lad over !! Resulting in (once again) terrible sportsmanship from our lot, loads of gloating !! |

A tight game in which Arena were always one step behind. Though the first pass and the setting was good, the hitting too often found the block, the net or the back wall. |
1. Chippy. For serving into the net at match point (and for leaving the pub before the Mr Spoon awards were sorted!)
2. Steve for delegating all responsibility for everything to anybody.
3. Jon for back-setting the ball into the back corner of the hall. |

Melton were always one step ahead and always had a spare hitting option. Despite playing well, Arena couldn't cope with the consistantly hard driven Melton hits. |

An excellent end to the season with Arena firing on all cylinders. Loughborough weren't allowed to play well because they had to deal with Arena's a consistantly strong block and hit . |
1. Steve for tipping the ball into space - on our side of the net!
2. Mike for gassing the entire team during warm up.
3. Chippy for not going to the pub to defend himself again!
